Search Engine Optimization (SEO) has become a buzzword in the market. And, why not, when we all are living in a world full of "cut throat" competition. To come out as a winner we need to be competitive. Here comes the power of web promotion and SEO.
Next, there are bright chances that you have been taken here by some search engine(s) and that is only possible if this site is fully optimize for various search engines. Again, here comes the power of web promotion and SEO.
As an experienced web content writer, copywriter and an SEO guy, I personally believe that before coming directly to any conclusion, there should be some justification based upon the background information and solid research. Let's see the current scenario.
Let's face it. Today's consumers are skeptical. But the truth is we all need them.
Can you really blame them?
With all the marketing hype and sales pitches people receive each day, we are all a bit jaded. However, to make the sale we must overcome our prospect's natural skepticism and create a relationship of trust. We need to respect the feelings of our customers. If they are thinking otherwise, we need to find out why they are doing so. Is there something wrong with them or there is wrong with the people around them?
No matter how best you can be in web promotion or even you have hired some best-of-the-breed web promoter or an SEO writer, you can't convert your prospects into customers unless you are offering them what they need and that too at their own terms and conditions. The search engines can bring traffic to your website but they can't really convert them into customers and can't make any sales on your website. They should genuinely believe and even feel that you are the BEST. That's where comes a true SEO writer with a perfect blend of great writing skills, marketing knowledge and near to perfect knowledge about various search engines and how they work. Only then you can expect a SUCCESS in the real SEO world.
Moreover, there are some scam artists in the SEO world who think they are the smartest people in the world. So instead of following "organic way" for promotion they follow some cheap tricks to get short-term success to beat the algorithms of search engines. But do you know that can result in complete banning of your website by search engines? By the time your website is banned/punished they are vanished like mushrooms after the rainy season.
So my dear friends always beware of these scam artists. Believe me there are millions of them in this industry. I am sure with a little bit of knowledge about various keywords and their density and placement rules you can do it yourself. First of all, you need to identify various keywords pertaining to your exact products and services. How to do that can again be a daunting task for beginners, but you don't worry I am here to help you out.
Literally, you need not to be a computer geek or an SEO expert to do all this. With just fair SEO knowledge, some common sense, and a resourceful, imaginative and learning mind, one can be able to keep his or her web site in good position with almost every search engine. That does include even the cases, when the desired search engine has gone through the most significant algorithm changes recently.
Identify, your keywords, make a list and write your content accordingly. Some of the best resources to generate keywords in this regard are: Google Adwords and Overture.
Once you have identified the relevant keywords, write your web site content for your visitors, not just for search engines. The more naturally you write the better chance you may have at the end. Naturally written sites can expect to see the better results in the future. Patience is the real key here because cheaters can get advantage here for a shorter time by playing tricks.
The search engines generally have a relatively difficult time with dynamic content on web sites as compared to static pages. That is because most dynamic pages are created by web sites displaying hundreds or thousands of products they sell and they frequently change their pages. Moreover, this condition is going to be worst in the coming days, as the number of people selling items on the Internet is going to be increased.
Obviously, search engines and minds behind them aren't fools, they too will improve their technology and would do a better job indexing dynamic content in the future. But till then you need to take care. All you can do at this stage is to join only SEO friendly sites, especially if you are selling products online then invest in database and shopping cart software that are SEO friendly.
Another great point in this regard is about incoming and outbound links. Once thought to be a very difficult thing to manipulate, incoming links to one's web site have been abused by crafty SEOs and webmasters the world over. I have personally seen many websites that have good money to spend on purchasing links with competitive keywords that point to their site with keywords in the anchor text.
Last but not the least; understand the importance of content distribution. You can distribute good quality content through content on your website in terms of articles, news or even newsletters and also using daily or weekly postings on your blog. By offering something valuable to your visitors in terms of useful information, tips and reviews on your website and blog you can have an edge over others. Not only this but you can also create a significant amount of content to be posted other web sites, such as EzineArticles, Article City, Go Articles, Article Dashboard, that will include a link back to your own.
Dear friends, never underestimate the importance of useful content. Remember, no matter how smart you are and how smartly you have done the entire SEO, if you aren't providing your web site visitors with useful information, chances of your success are literally thin. Take it from me, the real SEO doesn't start with trying to cheat or even beat the algorithm, but it starts with an understanding of what search engines look for in any quality web site.

Web Promotion Tips For 2008
2008 is nearly upon us and it is time to start thinking about our web promotion strategy for the coming year. With paid links all but wiped out it is now becoming harder to reach the top of the major search engines. This however should be seen as a positive as it means that the average man on the street who does not have a sack full of money is able to compete with the big boys. In this article I will be writing about the ways in which I will be promoting my own websites in 2008.
I am a massive fan of article marketing. I have seen some extremely positive results from this form of web promotion and really believe that the power of writing articles is going to become even greater in the long term. The one way backward links that it can provide are invaluable especially now that they are so hard to come buy. Search engines such as Google can not accuse you of buying these links and therefore you are in no danger of having any form of penalty.
I have to admit that I used to find it extremely frustrating when I was aware that people could go and purchase a pr7 link on eBay for quite a reasonable fee. I would then see that site shoot to the top of the rankings on the back of that and no doubt other similar purchases. There was I working very hard via writing good quality articles, feeding the net as I call it, and even though the rewards were there it was by no means as quick and easy as buying the backward links. I have to say that I was at one stage quite tempted to buy the odd link.
I am now very grateful that purchasing, lets say a pr7 link, has been outlawed, people may get away with it in the short term but over a longer period will no doubt get found out.
My advice for 2008 is write, write and write again. Yes that's right; it is time to start pounding out some good quality original articles.

6 Web Copywriting Tips to More Sales by Being Clear
3 days ago, I received a direct response sales copy that seem to be absolutely thought out. It's nicely drawn up, appealing and the photos are convincing.
Indeed, I was pretty fascinated in the matter (complementary therapy) it was . The brand name was gripping and did urge me to find out more. But I did not even complete the introductory article before I threw it into the rubbish bin. Do you know why?
It was filled with professional lingo! Pretentious, complicated terminology is all over the letter. I don't even know what is he is going on about although I'm sure people who have more medical experience than I do would.
I absolutely don't have time to explore my references to find out what he is trying to say and I'm definitely not interested in performing my research just to comprehend what he's trying to say. Who have? Would your prospects squander their precious time to find out what you're expressing in a sales letter?
No!
And that is what I'm attempt to talkabout in this piece: an extremely widespread mistake the majority of us have committed.
As a strategic copywriter, it's always imperative to achieve clearness than impact. Majority of professional copywriters attempt to write so that even a kid would know what he is coveying. Clearness and ease of understanding, explains very unmistakably what your offer is and conveys a very plain call-to-action.
Make sure that there is no uncertainty as to what you want your propect to do and what's in it for them if they do what you call abide by to do.
To accomplish Clearness and ease of understanding, here are a few tactic you can follow:
1. Stay away from regional expressions... there're loads of customers who will not comprehend what you mean.
2. Stay away from regional jokes. A story that's humorous in your country may not be humorous in other countries.
3. Stay away from professional lingo unlessyou are selling to "a player".
4. If you do use complicated vocabulary, clarify what you are trying to convey in the web copy.
5. Do use regular daily language.
6. Write like you speak. Use words like you and I not "we" or "us". Do not attempt to substitute words you usually use when speaking with something "more sophisticated". That type of talk does not have the personal touch that is helpful to your promotion.

The Best Web Hosting Package - What to Look for
When looking for the Best Web Hosting Package, there are 7 'things' to check for. Don't just buy the hosting package because it is cheap, it could be cheap for a very good reason. It needs to suit the product or service it is promoting.
The 7 Things are:
Space: Most websites don't need much space (most sites are a few hundred megabytes), but a reasonable amount is requires to run a decent site with an number of pages. Don't pay extra for loads of unnecessary space. Companies will boost unlimited space. So what!
Contract Term: You can choose month to month hosting(make sure you remember to pay), but it is cheaper and easier to manage if you opt for a 12 month contract. It all depends entirely on the website itself(it could be a seasonal website ie Christmas). I would be very wary of signing up for any longer than a year, as you might be able to get a better deal from another provider.
Email: Does the hosting package include email addresses? and how many? To add some credibility to your site it should include your domain name.
Support: Firstly does it support your operating system(Mac, windows or Linux)? and does the hosting provider offer 24/7 support (via live support or email tickets), should you have any queries or technical problems? Because if your website does go down you could lose considerable earnings, depending on the down time.
Software: Some hosting companies provide cpanel (beware other might charge for this option) or a similar control page, these application help you perform certain functions on your account and create blogs such as Wordpress almost in an instant.
Bandwidth: This is the total allowable amount of traffic that your website can take. In most cases they will/should give you far more than you actually need.
Cost/Price: That saying "you get what you pay for" is very relevant to web hosting. The basic 'shared hosting' (sharing a server) is the lowest price to 'dedicated' being the most costly due to the fact that there is a completely stand alone server just there for you to control. Think long and hard before you decide which option to go for, because if you sign up for a year and realise 2 months in that it is not right for you, you could be losing a money in more ways than one.
For cheap web hosting [http://www.site-web-hosting.org] deals or the best web hosting packages available which are updated regularly check out [http://www.site-web-hosting.org], we have done all the searching to bring you the best on the market.

Good Web Hosting - Secrets to Make the Right Choice
Being able to find a good web host is worth the effort. When you want the right website host, you must carefully weigh all the website hosting services to see that all your needs, according to your requirements, will be met. Good web hosting will present you with all the necessary tools to create the site you need.
There are so many sites created every day. Almost anyone can make a website, but the proper host makes all the difference. So how do you decide which host to chose? It takes a little research, but fortunately, the internet is the premier research vehicle in the world.
To avoid problems, down the road, there are some key areas to make sure of in your choice. A user friendly control panel is a must, because from here you will manage everything about your website - your files, your email, your passwords, your domain names and all the software tricks that will be available to you.
Get detailed information how the specifics of how the web host will back up your data. That is your lifeline and you do not want it lost. not be shy. It is your money they want, so make them dance for it.
Just like in any business, there are unscrupulous web hosts who will try to lock you in. Some try the trick of low upfront costs, then jack your monthly fees later. You must make sure you understand what you are agreeing to. It is easy, these days to find unlimited storage and space. Do not get caught having to pay for more as your need expands.
Many web hosts offer multiple templates. This is great and will give you the flexibility you need to create multiple sites for multiple purposes. You can create personal and business web sites and have them hosted on the same server at the same host with no extra cost. Make sure these add-on templates are free when you sign up.
If you ask, you can often garner a free domain name. Ask if it will be free for as long as you remain a client. The longer you commit to a host, the more you can ask for up front. You will also want to make sure that there are no penalties if you should want out of your contract. You will find many web hosts that will guarantee this for you. Peruse social networking sites for recommendations from users. But beware. Get more than one opinion because web host owners know about these sites and constantly promote their services there. You want an honest opinion, not a ringer. Still, spend an hour on a forum or one of these sites and you will have an awfully good idea of where to find a winner host.
Try the customer service for a prospective web host. Call them or try their online chat. See if their 24 hour customer service is for real. You also will want to skim their online tutorials and frequently asked questions section to see whether or not they are committed to servicing their customers.
Find out the particulars of their guarantee. If your web site goes down, do you get 1 days credit or do you get credit for the whole month? A $7.95 refund is small solace if you have just lost $1000 in sales because your website went down.
These days you can pay next to nothing and still get all the domains, all the memory, all the data transfer amount and great help in setting everything up. Demand as much as you can.
Just understand what you are agreeing to. Every hosting company is different, but good web hosting is one of the modern marvels of this new technical age. It is amazing what you get these days.
