Advocates of Google Cash claim what sets this method of marketing aside is there is no need for a website. All you have to do is join an affiliate program and start promoting the product which is sold on that site. For every sale you get commission and your profit is the difference between the cost of promoting the product that you have sold and the commission you have received.
If the product you are promoting only gets the occasional sale, then the amount you make from promoting this using Google AdWords, which how you make Google Cash, is not going to be much at all. In fact, the cost of using Google AdWords to promote a particular product could cost you more than what you are able to make from your commissions. This means you are losing money and the only winner is Google, and maybe to some extent, the merchant whose product you are promoting.
Google Cash is not a guaranteed winner. Even those who have learnt how to make an income from Google Cash have losers, and would have had some very unprofitable marketing campaigns using AdWords as the means of driving traffic to a site under their affiliate link. Because of this, new players often find themselves getting burnt and give up straight away.
Google Cash is really about having a strategy which enables you to find the winners and cutting your loses. For instance, a good strategy is to find 10 products and allocate a set amount of money to the marketing of each of your products. The ones that prove themselves profitable you keep. The ones that do not look like producing sufficient sales for a profit you stop promoting. This way you will not be spending too much money on losers and you will be able to quickly find out which products are selling from your promotion.
The advantage of spreading your marketing dollars over 10 products also means you will not get disillusioned from focusing on a poor producing product. You will also be more inclined to see whether you are using the right market for your product. Sometimes more than one product might sell better in certain niche or associated niche markets. For example, say you are selling leather goods, and you find that people who love horses prefer leather products over products made from synthetic materials. There is probably a strong chance that leather goods might appeal to them over synthetic goods.
What this means is a different market can be more quickly assessed when you are promoting ten different items, than when you are only promoting one product. When you find winners, you might be able to simply transfer a losing campaign across to a market you are already finding success in because there is a compatibility between, not so much the actual products but, in the material that is being used. Or in the case of finding a market that has people buying children's wear, you might be able to sell other compatible products into that market by changing the keywords in your AdWord's campaign.
Google Cash is not a surefire way to make money from everything you promote, but it can be a way to make an easy income without having to do the extra work that is required when attending to websites and autoresponders. However, you need to have a strategy and be willing to be adaptable.
